Ferries between Venice and Greece

Venice is about 27 hours from Igoumenitsa, 28.5 hours from Corfù, and 36 hours from Patras, and most ferries stop at each of the three western Greek ports along the way. Fares per person start around €50 for the deck (up to €73 in July and August), and from roughly around €110 (up to €196 July–Aug) for a berth in a quad cabin, €160 (€260 in summer) in a double.

Minoan Lines (tel. +39-041-504-1201 or +39-041-240-7103, www.minoanlines.it) has the most departures, with about 18 boats a month—at least every other day—though from January to March service to Corfù is cut back to nine times a month.

Anek Lines (tel. +39-041-528-6522, www.anekitalia.com) is a few euros cheaper and makes four runs a week, year-round (but only hits Corfù once a week from early October to early April).
