Giardini Savorgnan was laid out in the late 1600s by Giuseppe Sardi as the private gardens for the baroque Palazzo Savorgnan (now a school).
Now property of the city and open to the public, it is one of the larger gardens in town, providing a cool, refreshing spot near the train station to stroll under linden, maples, chestnut, plane trees, oak, and yew.
There's also a children's playground.
