This Oratorio behind the church of San Domenico features not only fabulous 1710–17 stuccoes by Giacomo Serpotta—Palermo's master of elaborate stucco work who carried the baroque style to rococo heights (or excesses, depending on your tastes)—but also some lovely baroque paintings and frescoes by Borremans, Pietro Novelli, Luca Giordano, and an altarpiece of the Madonna of the Rosary by Van Dyck.
The adjacent baroque church of San Domenico itself is free (lovely facade, plus a marble Pietà by Domenico Gagini), but its quiet cloisters charge admission.
