A comfy B&B bang in the center of Palermo, Sicily

This B&B in La Kalsa is like having your own spacious, Sicilian apartment, with just two suite-like rooms overlooking the Basilica of San Francesco. It's one of my top choices for best place to stay in town—heart of the action, charmingly furnished, quiet, and very homey, with a Sicilian breakfast.

Either room sleeps several people, with two separate bedrooms (on one, separated by curtains, in the other by sliding doors) and a common sitting area. There's a two-night minimum.
