Salerno buses and trams

How to use the bus and tram system in Salerno

Salerno buses are now run by FS Bus Italia Campania.

They use the same Unicocampania tickets as most public transit in the region, including Naples.

The handiest bus for sightseers is #43, which trundles around the historic center past the Duomo and also stops near the tourist office at Teatro Verdi. (Annoyingly, the closest the #43 comes to the train station is four longs blocks wast along Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi, at the corner with Via Arturo de Felice.)
