Meeting point is Social Bike Shop: Discesa dei Giudici. We are a few steps away from the Quattro Canti square, the real and symbolic centre of Palermo old town.
We leave Palermo pedalling through the Cassaro quarter, the current Corso Vittorio Emanuele, to cycle along the Corso dell'Uscibene, the street that historically joins Porta Nuova of Palermo with Monreale, and that is today called Corso Calatafimi. Learning about local history and following the history path, we will meet the water way that will take us up to Monreale, through Norman buildings and Phoenician Necropolis. Once in Monreale, we will stop in the main square to visit the Duomo.
It is famous for its sparkling unique mosaics and therefore it is a UNESCO site. We will also visit the cloister behind the church, it is famous for its spiral columns. We will continue the tour enjoying the panorama that Monreale offers overviewing the Conca Doro of Palermo from various belvederes. We will get a chance to talk with the local mosaicists that will show us the secrets of their craft.
Our tour includes a must for Monreale visitors: the warm flavour of "Pane Cunzatu", made with local ingredients by the towns bakeries.
We will then be pedalling towards the Giudecca to end our discovery of all the secrets of a "Monte Reale" that has hosted the

The tour tells the story of the love-hate relationship between the city and the sea. Travel through time from the tonnare (tuna traps) of the 13th and 14th centuries through the old fishing villages and large bathing facilities of the early 20th century.

Discovering Cefalù, an important Arab-Norman city and touristic destination of world relevance.
After the segway driving test, it will begin the itinerary to the center of Cefalù.

You driver will meet you in front of your Palermo hotel, then drive you to Cefalù and Santo Stefano di Camastra on Sicilys coast.
In Cefalù, you will admire the majestic cathedral, one of the most interesting medieval buildings in the region. Legend says that Roger II, the well-known Norman sovereign of Sicily, in gratitude to God for sparing his life in a violent storm at sea, commissioned the building of a grand cathedral at Cefalù, where he landed after the tempest. The church reflects the various Norman, Latin, Greek, and Arab influences of Sicilian history. The province is also very famous for its beaches. It is ideal for an afternoon stroll, a place to sit on a bench and watch the sea roll in, or a place to sun and swim.
You will visit the medieval laundry, where women could gather to wash clothing in a series of large basins that line up in an unusual stepped sequence. You'll see the beautiful Santo Stefano Church, also known as the Church of Purgatory. Its delicately carved Baroque portal looks out onto a small square from atop a graceful double staircase with iron balustrades. Greenery and flowers make the square even more intimate.
Your trip will continue on to Santo Stefano di Camastra, a lovely little village famous for its refined and historical tradition of ceramic production. The pretty and colorful ceramics are sold to visitors in the many shops along the streets of its center.
After the tour is finished, your driver will take you back to your accommodation in downtown Palermo.

During this smallgroup tour you will visit the archaeological site of Segesta (tickets entrance not included), take in the excellent views from the hilltop town of Erice and see how sea salt is still collected off the Sicilian coast at the Salt Pans of Trapani. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon

Meet your Guide and drive towards the archeological park of SELINUNTE, among the most evocative places in Sicily. Also one of the most impressive of all Greek sites, never having been built over in modern times. In the 5th Century BC it was second only to Syracuse. The archeological site includes several temples, part of the excavated ancient city, amazing ruins more than 2500 years old and a beautiful landscape.
