Experience the beauty of the Valpolicella Valley on a full-day tour. An A/C bus with a multilingual guide will drive you to one of the most well known wine discricts of northern Italy; this hilly region is located in the province of Verona, along the shores of the Adige River.
Starting out from a number of Lake Garda resorts, the first stop is at a local cantina. Taste some of the region’s well-known red wines, including Valpolicella and Amarone, and see the winemaking process.
The next stop will be for lunch at a farmhouse, where you’ll enjoy a meal featuring local products, accompanied by a glass of wine.

You will visit one of the best and the oldest wine-making companies in Sirmione accompanied by a professional sommelier. The Lugana winery is a perfect illustration of how local traditions are combined with the latest modern technologies. In the year 2000 a new cellar fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology was built here but the wines continue to age in traditional French oak barrels. You will be invited to the cellar and taste several varieties of wine. Stop At: Pieve di San Giorgio di Valpolicella, Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, Province of Verona, Veneto

Experience the beauty of the Valpolicella Valley on a full-day tour. An A/C bus with a multilingual guide will drive you to one of the most well known wine discricts of northern Italy; this hilly region is located in the province of Verona, along the shores of the Adige River.
Starting out from a number of Lake Garda resorts, the first stop is at a local cantina. Taste some of the region’s well-known red wines, including Valpolicella and Amarone, and see the winemaking process.
The next stop will be for lunch at a farmhouse, where you’ll enjoy a meal featuring local products, accompanied by a glass of wine.
In the afternoon, at a short distance,admire the views from the panoramic terrace in front of the church of San Giorgio. Visit the ancient Roman church of San Giorgio and its cloister.
Return at your resort for dinner time.

This is a tour that allows you to visit the most prestigious Veronese areas: Lake Garda and Valpolicella in the same day. A fantastic opportunity to enrich your wine knowledge and to enjoy the great sceneries of Verona province.
On this great day you’ll have a walk in Bardolino or Lazise, two lovely villages on Lake Garda shores; then you’ll taste traditional wines such as Bardolino, sparkling rosé Chiaretto and Pinot Grigio.
After a delicious Italian lunch you’ll reach Valpolicella Classica to visit a traditional winery and, as a perfect end of the day, you’ll taste the entire range of Valpolicella wines DOC and DOCG, such as Valpolicella, Ripasso, Amarone and Recioto with their different styles.

Departure at 9.00 a.m. from Via Roma, 33 Verona (in front of Castelvecchio).
After the transfer from Verona to Lake Garda, we have a walk on the Lake shore of Bardolino or Lazise, and a visit and a wine tasting session at a winery in the Bardolino wine area. The lunch will be in a local restaurant with Bardolino wines matched with traditional dishes.
Transport by air conditioned minivan (9 seats).
During the journey from Verona to Lake Garda and on the hills of Valpolicella Classica wine region, our Pagus tour leader and sommelier will be at your disposal; you'll have a visit and a wine tasting session at a Bardolino winery and at a Valpolicella winery, then lunch in a local restaurant (wine included).
