On this 3 days food and wine short break in Lecce, you will be able to discover the Apulian culinary heritage, visit local markets, experiment with the local tradition, learn how to make the famous orecchiette and maccheroni, the fresh pasta of the sunday lunch. During the boat trip, sail around the Sorrentine coast passing through Marciano, Mitigliano and Bagni Regina Giovanna. Arriving in Capri, pass the Lighthouse of Punta Carena, the imposing Faraglioni rocks, the Green and White Grottoes and the Roman Villa of the Emperor Curzio Malaparte. Enjoy swimming in the blue water of the Gulf or relax and sunbathe on board. In the late morning, you will meet at the agency in the Colosseum area (pick up from hotel is not included) where you will start a 3-hour Ancient Rome and Colosseum walking group tour with your expert guide. In the Morning Walking Tour of Florence City (Medieval & Renaissance): The most complete and thrilling guided walking tour starts from the peculiar Central market zone, characterized by its workshops and multicolored stalls, where the Medici Chapels, and Basilica di S. Lorenzo, the church of Medicis Family, are located. In a short time you can reach Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the Cathedral* (inside visit) and its dome by Brunelleschi, the bell-tower by Giotto, Saint John Baptistery with its Paradise Door. The tour continues by visiting the medieval quarters where Dante Alighieri and Beatrice lived. Further on you can find Palazzo del Bargello. Not too far, there is Piazza dellaSignoria, a great open-air sculpture museum, overlooked by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio. Next to it the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museum all over the world. Then you proceed to the picturesque MercatodellaPaglia(Straw market), where the famous Piglet Fountain is located. You walk along the street that leads to Ponte Vecchio, the jewels bridge. By crossing the bridge, you will reach the wonderful Pitti Palace where our tour ends. Day 3 - Departure

1st day: Arrival in Catania by your own car, accommodation in your hotel, encounter with the guide, dinner, evening walk in the city centre, and overnight stay
2nd day: Etna, Catania and Riviera dei Ciclopi: pick up from your hotel you will head for Rifugio Sapienza where you can choose one of the following options: trekking up to 2000 m; Etna high altitude option; Etna quad tour. The excursion will continue with the visit of a lava cave with helmets and torches. Then in Zafferana, where you taste typical products. The day will continue with the visit of Catania's city center, Riviera dei Ciclopi and then Acicastello. You will return to your hotel in Catania, for dinner and for the night, around 7:00 pm.
3rd day: Giardini Naxos, Taormina, Castelmola: After Breakfast you will go to Giardini Naxos, the first Greek colony in Sicily. A stop at the wonderful Isola Bella, a Wildlife Reserve considered the pearl of the Ionian for its natural beauty. In Castelmola you will walk along the characteristics streets of the town. 4th day: Siracusa, Ortigia and Noto: The tour will begin with the visit to the Archaeological park of Neapolis. You will then continue by visiting the Ortigia Island, the heart of Syracuse. After lunch (not included in the price), you will head for Noto, a unique town for its Sicilian Baroque style. You will return to your hotel in Catania, for dinner and for the night, around 7:00 pm.
5th day: Cefalù and Palermo: depart from the hotel towards Cefalù. You will visit the picturesque fishing town, free time for lunch. After you will move to Palermo and have a free afternoon to dedicate to shopping and relax. You will have dinner in your hotel in Palermo.
6th day: Palermo and Monreale: you will dedicate the day to discover Palermo with a guide. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon you will go to Monreale for the guided tour of the Cathedral. You will return to your hotel in Palermo, for dinner and for the night, around 7:00 pm.
7th day: Piazza Armerina and Caltagirone: you will depart by bus to Piazza Armerina and visit the beautiful Villa Romana del Casale. In the afternoon you will visit Caltagirone, the Sicilian pottery capital. You will also visit the famous staircase of Santa Maria del Monte, completely covered in Caltagirone majolica. Day 1: Rome Arrival (No meals)
Meet your guide in the lobby of your hotel or the arrivals lounge at Leonardo da VinciFiumicino Airport (FCO). Board the minivan, then begin your 3-hour voyage to Siena. Upon you'll arrival, break for lunch, then check-in to your hotel. Spend the rest of your evening at your leisure.

Day 2: San Gimignano and Pisa Day Trip (B)
Have breakfast at the hotel, then head out for a tour of San Gimignano. Spend a few hours in the city before partaking in lunch, as well as a delightful wine tasting if you choose. Afterwards, head to Pisa and visit the main sites of the city, including the Leaning Tower. In the afternoon youll be taken back to your hotel.

Day 3: Montepulciano and Pienza (B)
After breakfast in the hotel, start your day with a guided tour of Castello di Brolio. After viewing the exterior of the castle, you will be escorted to the castle's wine cellar. Next, head to Montepulciano, where you will spend time strolling the streets of the city. Break for lunch and join a wine tasting while in town. Come the afternoon, spend time visiting Pienza and its main sites. Then, head back to your hotel to spend the evening as you wish.

Day 4: The Mall and Florence (B)
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then drive to the outlet called The Mall, not too far from Florence, where youll have time to shop in the morning. Once your done shopping, make your way to Florence and explore the highlights of this Tuscan city. Return to your hotel at the end of the day.

Day 5: Rome Departure (B)
Check out of your Siena hotel after breakfast, and have the driver bring you to Orvieto. Take time to visit the main areas and have a brief lunch. In the early afternoon, you will reach Rome, leaving your driver to bring you to your Rome hotel or the airport.

Tour to Pisa: In the afternoon around 1:30 pm a splendid excursion through the fertile and picturesque Tuscan countryside to the historic university city of Pisa, famous for its architectural beauty. Upon arrival in Pisa, guided walking tour of Piazza deiMiracoli, with the celebrated Leaning Tower, the Baptistery and other important monuments. This is followed by a visit to the interior of the Cathedral. Back to Florence. Evening at leisure visit Florence on your own and shopping. Overnight in Florence
Day 2 - FLORENCE
Breakfast in Hotel.
In the Morning Walking Tour of Florence City (Medieval & Renaissance): The most complete and thrilling guided walking tour starts from the peculiar Central market zone, characterized by its workshops and multicolored stalls, where the Medici Chapels, and Basilica di S. Lorenzo, the church of Medicis Family, are located. In a short time you can reach Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the Cathedral* (inside visit) and its dome by Brunelleschi, the bell-tower by Giotto, Saint John Baptistery with its Paradise Door. The tour continues by visiting the medieval quarters where Dante Alighieri and Beatrice lived. Further on you can find Palazzo del Bargello. Not too far, there is Piazza della Signoria, a great open-air sculpture museum, overlooked by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio. Next to it the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museum all over the world. Then you proceed to the picturesque MercatodellaPaglia(Straw market), where the famous Piglet Fountain is located. You walk along the street that leads to Ponte Vecchio, the jewels bridge. By crossing the bridge, you will reach the wonderful Pitti Palace where our tour ends. (*) The Cathedral cannot be visited on National Holidays and for reasons beyond our control.

Later Enjoy a Walking tour (meeting point for the tour in St Mark Square) of the area between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, passing through la Fenice Theatre, Scala del Bovolo, Ponte di Rialto. The visit does not include an explanation of the St. Marks square. At the end of the visit on foot, embarking on gondola and 35 minute ride along the Grand Canal and minor channels. Day 07 Venice Island Tour
Today after breakfast, proceed to Alilaguna's Pier at St. Marks waterfront. Embark on a motorboat and visit the Island Murano. Then one proceeds to the characteristic Island of Burano, renowned for the lace making. Day 1: Naples SorrentoStart your 2-night tour with a pickup from Naples airport, train station or your central hotel, and enjoy a scenic and comfortable transfer to Sorrento. Check into your 3- or 4-star hotel and spend the evening as you wish. Perhaps head down to the harbor to take in the views out to the Bay of Naples, or check out top attractions like Sorrento Duomo or Piazza Tasso, the towns main square. Head to one of the local trattorias for dinner (own expense), where you can taste southern Italian staples including pasta and arancini (fried rice balls).

Day 2: Sorrento Capri Sorrento (B, L)After breakfast at your hotel, travel by car or minivan to the port. Meet your guide, then step aboard a hydrofoil boat and speed across the glistening waters to the island of Capri, a Mediterranean utopia famed for its dazzling beauty.
Head first to the charming village of Anacapri, where, for a fee, you can enter Villa San Michele. This stunning home, which was once inhabited by the famous Swedish doctor and author Axel Munthe, is one of the most famous attractions on the island. Built with the remains of Roman ruin, the terrace here boasts unrivaled views of the island. Time allowing, you'll have the chance to ascend Capri's highest peak, Monte Solara, by chairlift for stunning panoramic vistas from the summit.
Tuck into a 3-course lunch in Capri town, then while away the afternoon checking out the islands other top sights, including the main square of Piazza Umberto and the nearby medieval shopping streets. Visit the Gardens of Augustus (own expense), where the beautifully landscaped terraced gardens overlook the craggy Faraglioni rock formations and the Bay of Marina Piccola. In late afternoon, return to the hydrofoil boat and cruise back to Sorrento. The rest of the evening is yours to explore Sorrento independently.
