The views are picture perfect, so have your camera on hand to capture snaps of Florence as well as the many animals around the site. Horses, pigs, donkeys, goats and cows are just a few of the farm’s residents that you may see.
Wander through the vegetable garden — open only to your tour — and help your guide select some homegrown treats for your dinner. Then sit back and relax inside the farm’s cozy kitchen, and watch a chef prepare and cook your lunch in front of you.

When the meal is ready, take a seat outside and help yourself to water, wine and coffee as you dinnertime feast is served. Dishes may change, but usually they include bruschetta with the farm’s own extra virgin olive oil, pasta primavera (made with the seasonal vegetables picked earlier), and succulent slices of grilled Chianina (local beef) with salad from the garden. Follow your main course with fresh fruit or a homemade pie, and chat with your guide and group about beautiful Tuscany.
With your appetite sated, cruise back down to central Florence where your tour ends.

We meet in San Pellegrino Terme where we start our tour. We stop in interesting points such as San Giovanni Bianco, Cornello dei Tasso, following the river and the old railway with a lot of signs from the past. In the village of Piazza Brembana we will turn back and on the way home  we stop for a great 3 meal lunch at a local Agriturismo. They produce food and products from traditional breeds and have a high class restaurant. The tour ends where we started, in the famous town San Pellegrino Terme and we show you the most remarkable buildings as Grand Hotel and the Casinò.

We meet in San Pellegrino Terme and take the local bus a few stops (if you arrive with the bus from Bergamo or Piazza Brembana - let us know!) Trekking full day in a moderate tempo, please bring your trekking poles a small rucksack with a change of clothes and a water bottle. We eat lunch in a beautiful situated farm, an italian Agriturismo, full meny with drinks. They use local products from their own farm and serve traditional food from the mountain area. After lunch we walk along the river Brembo and back to San Pellegrino Terme where the tour ends. The guide speaks english/swedish and will tell you about the historical villages and the very important street via Mercatorum wich was the most important transportation possibility in the middle ages.

The cooking class is held at Ristorante Da Nonna Luisa, part of the Agriturismo Antico Casale farm in Colli di San Pietro, located in the hills of the Sorrentine Peninsula.
The day will begin with a guided tour of the farm and fields where we will pick the fruit and vegetables we need to prepare the dishes during the cookng class.
Lessons are led by Nonna Luisa herself, with the help of grandsons Mario and Salvatore.
During lunch, a number of Sorrentine specialties will be served.

The tour starts and ends at 9.30 am from Aulla train station. Once you've reached the riding place in the “agriturismo” in Lunigiana and after a short briefing with your horse riding guide, you’ll make your way into the “Via Francigena”, the ancient route that in medieval times connected Canterbury to Rome, passing through the chestnut forest and oaks and reaching the aristocratic castle of the Malaspina family, experiencing both the serenity and the culture it offers.
The horses are well-trained, fit and a pleasure to ride.
After the riding experience you will relax in the typical restaurant of the farmhouse enjoying the specialities of the region.

As you reach Ninfa, once an ancient village, enjoy your exploration of the gorgeous Garden of Ninfa, where writers including Virginia Woolf found inspiration for their creations. Admire small waterfalls, and see abundant plant life, such as bamboo, flowering cherry trees, irises, and California poppies.
Afterward, visit a local agriturismo for lunch, and then make the short, scenic drive to Sermoneta, one of the best preserved medieval towns in Italy. See its historical, artistic, and cultural sights, like tower houses, the cathedral, the walls, and the majestic castle Caetani.
Your day trip ends with return to Rome.

Second stop is an ecological farm that hosts many interesting projects. Here Giordano, the farmer, will show us how he takes care of the olive trees and biodiversity, establishing other crops and preserving the historical landscape. Finally, a lunch in company with fresh products of the day gathered in the vegetable garden!

The tour starts off close to Castelvecchio. On the e-bikes you'll quickly reach the old village of Avesa, with its old lion fountain (there is a legend, ask the guide!). From there on, the road goes uphill, some hairpin turns will lead you above the city.
The path goes in the woods, among vineyards, olive trees and villas. Here, where the Valpolicella and the Amarone wine are produced, you'll enjoy excellent views on the town and on the surroundings. The itinerary goes downhill to the Northern part of Valpantena valley until Villa Arvedi and then back uphill towards Agriturismo San Mattia, the beautiful location of Giovanni Ederle winery. There you'll visit the cellar and the vineyards and sit on the breathtaking terrace to sip the local organic wines, with Bread, cheese, salami and homemade pickled vegetables. Then quickly back into the crowded Verona. 
The tour lasts 5 hours, it is about 32 km long. The e-bikes make the path easy, but some familiarity with pedaling is better.

Enjoy a half-day of fun and relaxation, taste the traditional foods typical of Italy and Tuscany on this half-day guided coach trip from Florence!
Start your visit from our tourist office with a short walk with your local guide, and before leaving Florence by bus to the Chianti hills, you will stop for an Italian breakfast in one of Florence's historic cafés "LITERARY COFFEE "where you will have the chance to taste the typical Italian breakfast dishes (sweet and savory croissants, cappuccino, espresso and orange juice). The first stop is Noto, where we will visit beautiful baroque buildings, including the Cathedral of Noto, the church San Domenico and Palazzo Villadorata. Heart of the town is the Corso Vittorio Emanuele. With the parallel running Via Cavour it locates the main attractions of the town. In Piazza Municipio you can go up a broad staircase to get to the dome. The cathedral was completed in 1770. A severe earthquake in 1996 destroyed the large central dome and the aisles. Restored due to original, the cathedral was officially reopened at the beginning of 2007.

Next stop is the nature reserve of Vendicari (Riserva naturale Orientata Oasi di Vendicari faunistica), where we will reach the beautiful Tonnara and Torre Sveva beach after a short walk.
Vendicari is a real paradise for birds. You can observe Flamingos, storks and cormorants here and sometimes even pond turtles.
Here you will have the possibility to take refreshing swim (if you like) in the crystal clear sea or you can visit the former tuna factory and Torre Sveva. Afterwards it is time for lunch at a country inn (agriturismo). Here you can enjoy a full meal of Sicilian specialties.

In the afternoon we will drive to Syracuse. 2005 the town was declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO and is located in the south-east of Sicily between the rivers Anapo and Ciane. Cicero himself defined Syracuse as ”the biggest and beautiful city among all the Greek cities”. We will visit the isle of Ortigia where you can admire the Cathedral of “Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception” erected on the ancient Greek temple of Athena. Inside the columns of the temple are still visible.
Finally the visit of Ortigia takes us to the “Fonte Aretusa”, a legendary fresh water spring with a fountain.

After a little more than 1 hour driving distance, along back roads passing by villages and a flat landscape, you will reach the medieval walled town of Castelfranco Veneto that welcomes you with its clock tower and its two entrance gates surrounded by crenelated walls.
Here you will meet your licensed English speaking guide to visit a town that preserves the colors and the fragrances of an ancient history. The center of the castle is a little jewel, with its diverse styles of architecture. From those with a stamp from the Middle Ages to edifices with an eighteenth-century matrix.
But most of all, Castelfranco Veneto is the place of birth of Giorgione. The artist that starts the Renaissance painting in the Veneto area, famous for his canvases of unrivaled beauty, from his Altarpiece located in the cathedral to the Tempest.

Your tour continues on the way to the little village of Fanzolo where is located Villa Emo. Here you will meet your licensed guide to visit a Palladio's masterpiece reported in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Most probably the construction of the villa Emo was in between the years 1557 and 1560, and the interior frescoes of the main rooms were made by the painter Zelotti that was partner and collaborator of Veronese.

Pieve di San Lorenzo di Panico: we start our tour from one of the most interesting Romanesque buildings in the Bolognese Apennines. The building, built in the first half of the 12th century, still retains most of the original structures. We will be able to admire the interiors, the three splendid naves and the walls of squared sandstone ashlars, the decorated Corinthian imitation capitals and the apse with its precious architectural ornamentation.
River Reno: going down towards the valley, we will sail along the river Reno, the most important river in Emilia-Romagna after the Po. It is born in Tuscany, in the province of Pistoia, and flows into the Adriatic Sea near Ravenna. The ancient bridge of Panico and the suspended walkway are really suggestive, from which you can enjoy a splendid panorama.

We begin with a group transfer from Bari Airport to our masseria (a local organic farm offering elegant accommodation and food) set into the tranquil countryside and surrounded by the Dauni Mountains. We chat with the owner of the masseria and set off on foot to explore the area, with him as our guide. Along the way, you taste locally-made wines. We punctuate the day enjoying Pugliese recipes in Pietramontecorvino, uno dei Borghi piú Belli d’Italia (one of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy in English). We'll dine in a town landmark, overlooking the spectacular vista of Puglia's rolling hills, your home for the next three days. This is a project that promotes the great heritage of history, art, culture, environment and traditions found in small Italian towns off the beaten paths.

Day 3: Seaside Visit to Peschici

Today we visit the seaside town of Peschici and a Trabucco, for an aperitif in a traditional fishing rock- anchored wooden platform. We are in the Gargano National Park that we’ll enjoy on a stroll after lunch in an agriturismo. (Agriturismi are a unique type of accommodation in Italy,featuring room and board in a farmhouse. In Puglia they are called masseria when the original structure was a fortified farm.) This place features also a Slow Food Presidium (Slow Food Presidia are worldwide initiatives to support quality production methods that are at risk of extinction) of the Gargano Podolica cow, which has been bred here for centuries and that we’ll discover on an informative visit during lunch.

Day 4: Troia & Visit to Food Artisans with Cooking Demo

We start our day meeting another Especially Puglia food artisan, a producer of tapenade and preserved veggies to learn the secrets behind tomato sauce and canning in this area of Puglia, that we’ll savor tonight at dinner. Then we transfer to the small village of Troia for a walk and visit to its Romanesque cathedral, followed by lunch on own.
Our last dinner is at our masseria and it features the local orecchiette (hand-made short pasta shaped like small ears) made by Michele’s mamma and aunt during a cooking demo, in addition to focaccia and other typical foodstuffs to complete the delicious menu.
How could we top this off? Why not with some local folk music for a fun night of dancing and listening to a local band? Welcome to Puglia!

Day 5: Visit Trani & UNESCO Castel de Monte

Stop At: Castel del Monte, Andria, Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, Puglia
We say “arrivederci” to the northern part of Puglia and head south into the Murge Plateau, a rugged landscape not often visited by tourists that offers extensive views of farmlands. Before we reach our masseria (elegant and eco-friendly countryside accommodation) for the night, we stop by Trani for a nice amble through this quaint sea town.
After lunch on your own we visit the UNESCO site of Castel del Monte, a 13th-century castle built by Frederick II, originally used as an hunting lodge and now one of the most fascinating castles built by the Swabian emperor.
On reaching our masseria, the owner gladly shows us around and explains what sustainability means for them in this organic farm before we enjoy an exquisite dinner of traditional recipes, washed down with locally-made wines.

Day 6: Visit UNESCO site in Matera & Ancient Flour Mill in Altamura

Stop At: Cattedrale di Matera, Matera, Province of Matera, Basilicata
Our final full day begins with a border crossing into Basilicata and visit to the UNESCO site of Matera. Originally founded by the Romans in the 3rd century BC, this area is suspected to be one of the first pre-historic settlements in Italy. Our local guide curates our learning experience around this enchanting city famous for “I Sassi” (houses dug into the calcareous rock). You may recall this unique setting as it was chosen as the backdrop for Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of Christ.”
Lunch is on your own today. Discover the local cuisine and unique delicacies of Basilicata (we are happy to make suggestions!) before we return to Puglia.
Stopping by Altamura, we visit an Especially Puglia pasta maker and a bread maker. Altamura boasts the only bread D.O.P. (Denomination of Protected Origin) in all of Italy, which makes this product distinctive in quality and specific characteristics that you can only find here. It is also a Slow Food Presidia, protecting food at risk of extinction.

Day 1: Meet your tour director at the airport. Transfer to centrally located Milan hotel. In the evening they'll be a welcome dinner at a local, family owned restaurant so you can get to know your fellow travelers. 
Day 2, after breakfast you'll embark on a 1/2 day walking tour of the city with a professional guide. The tour concludes with a viewing of Da Vinci’s Last Supper – with plenty of sights and history in between. There is a break halfway through for lunch on your own. The rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to do as you wish. 
On the morning of day 3, you'll travel to Verona and after settling in at a beautiful agroturismo, you'll head to the city center for a walking tour of the city’s highlights including the Roman Arena and Juliette’s house. Later, back at the agroturismo you'll enjoy a wine tasting with wines produced from the grapes that grow on-site. This evening, it’s off to dinner at a mountain-top restaurant with a spectacular view of the city. 
Day 4 features a day trip to Venice. After an historical walking tour of the city including charming parts of the “hidden Venice,” you'll break for lunch on the Grand Canal. Afterward, take a stroll to St. Mark’s Square or speak with your tour director who can help you arrange an optional gondola ride. 
Day 5 you'll depart for Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. After arriving at the hotel, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore and discover this beautiful city. 
The morning of day 6, you'll enjoy a walking tour that takes you through the city’s historic center culminating with a viewing of Michelangelo’s David. 
On day 7 you'll head for Siena and stay at an off-the-beaten-path hotel in the countryside. After check-in, board your tour bus and head in to town to explore the ancient streets, marvel at the Gothic architecture and get to know this beautiful town that started as a Roman trading post. 
After a leisurely morning on day 8, you'll head to sleepy little Montalcino and tour one of the world’s most prestigious wineries.
